From the moment of its foundation, the Chair of Legal Culture of the University of Girona proposed to establish an international Legal Culture award, with which the career and contributions of jurists and researchers from different areas of knowledge that have had a significant impact would be recognized. prominently in the development of legal culture and in the evolution of our institutions. With this objective we have awarded this award to the editor of Marcial Pons, Juan José Pons, to Professor Susan Haack and ex-aequo to Professors Riccardo Guastini and Paolo Comanducci.
 

The International Legal Culture Prize 2024 is awarded to Professor Ricardo Caracciolo for his career outstanding career in the field of legal theory, constitutional theory and the analysis of normative language, fields of research in which they have excelled and published numerous works that have become essential references with broad significance within Legal Culture.
 

To give the award ceremony an eminently academic aspect, different conferences presented by six researchers have been scheduled both days about the work of Ricardo Caracciolo and his main contributions to legal culture, to which will be added a presentation of the awardee himself.
 

The workshop woul take place IN PERSON at the Faculty of Law ot the Universitat de Girona. The registration to the workshop is free, but required for organisational purposes, in order to guaratee a sucessuful event.
